Whether you go to a Trainer with a puppy, an out of control older dog or a rescue, all Gundog Trainers will teach you basic commands....there may be slight variation from trainer to trainer, but there will be similarities .... the important thing is consistency ... choose the commands you are going to use and stick with them.

We believe that by using the same basic commands with consistency, every dog can be trained to a good standard of obedience.

This will lead to both you and your dog having a better life as your dog will know what is expected of it and recognise you as it's pack leader. You will derive satisfaction from having a well behaved dog and can sit back and smile whilst watching other people's dogs run away from them and ignore their owners furious and futile attempts at recall.
